Supermarket Planning Applications near Kings Norton Green

S

Last week I posted on Facebook details of  the revised planning application which has been submitted for a new Co-op store fronting Kings Norton Green together with details about how local residents can submit views by the Planning Department’s closing date of this Thursday – 30th January.

As predicted, an appeal has now also been submitted against the City Council’s refusal of separate Planning Application for a new Sainsburys store on the Car Park of the Navigation Pub near Kings Norton Green. Here are the details of how residents can submit views on that too.

Kings Norton Labour Councillor, Peter Griffiths, is a member of the Planning Committee which refused both the Co-op and Sainsburys applications last Autumn. His Labour Councillor colleague, Val Seabright, and I were also closely involved with local residents and traders at the time.

If you are a Kings Norton resident or a local business, if your children go to Kings Norton Primary or you shop on the Green, please send your views in as soon as you can!
