May Newsletter from Richard Burden MP

M

If a week is a long time in politics, there can be no doubt we have seen a great deal of change in the last four!

As the 2014-2015 Parliament begins, I’m very pleased to send local people May’s newsletter, which has updates on work in Westminster and Birmingham Northfield. This update covers local and national news – from the recent local and European elections, to voting for the first new railway north of London in over a hundred years (HS2), and Labour’s opposition to the Government’s risky reforms to taxi and minicab law. There are also updates on green waste in Birmingham, MG Rover Pensions, and a truly heart-warming story about a couple in Kings Norton.

I hope you enjoy reading this month’s news and remember you can also sign up to receive the monthly newsletter straight to your email account.
