Alzheimer’s Society – Choosing a care home

A

Choosing a care home can often be a complex and stressful process. The Alzheimer’s Society has just produced a useful guide to help those who are in the process of choosing a suitable care home.

You can download a copy of the guide from their website.

The guide covers various topics including meals, security and safety, health, activities, location and access among other things.

I will be writing to the Director of Social Services at Birmingham City Council asking that this helpful tool is shared with those seeking help and advice.
